FRONTERA COMALAPA, Mexico – Posters of Disney teen icon Hannah Montana jostle for wall space alongside photos of busty pin-up girls.

A Rock-Ola cranks out distorted tunes that reverberate through this gloomy bar on the outskirts of Frontera Comalapa, a Mexican hill town close to the porous border with Guatemala.

Out back, in a wooden building with some 20 tiny, cell-like rooms, Celeste, 20, and Silvia, 21, dab on eyeliner and lip-gloss. They’re getting ready for another night of work at the no-frills “Playboy” cantina and brothel.
